The Softball Boilerplate blog probably won’t be updated anymore, because everything in here was moved over to iwlua.tumblr.com and combined with the Case Study entries. Most of my efforts are on madeofhells.tumblr.com, but Season 2 of “Imagination Will Lead Us Astray” will begin sometime later this year, early next year at the latest.
“ My ex-husband said that life is all about growing close and then drifting apart. That was most likely just his excuse for leaving, to make it seem normal. I never thought it applied to families, and the people that mean the most to you… I haven’t talked to my son in three years. He doesn’t want to see me. I guess he was right… ”
“ Through independent research, and with data recovered from my late husband’s private documents, I have come to the conclusion that there is a cosmic force that has made contact with humans, and while accounts vary, the underlying message seems to be that our brains are not set in a way to understand or connect with the universe. This makes us an anomoly and I believe we have attracted the interest of something unimaginable. Subject 4 (Maximilian Grave) has expressed on multiple occasions that we’re all going to die (see appendix 4.) ”
“ Knowing I’m about to die doesn’t make me any smarter. Same way you being told to kill me doesn’t make you anything but a punk. Someone out there somewhere is gonna hear me straight up call you a punk. So do what you gotta do but I’m going out calling all y’all fucking skankish punks. ”
